Loved it, completed it. I found it a bit frustrating at first because I was smashing my little guy all over the place but once I realised you had to pick your way through the levels, and that it was a puzzle game as much as a platformer, I really enjoyed it.

Cool that you can edit the settings. I'm really rooting for those bees. Just needs some sound and a bit more strategy

Nice atmosphere and presentation. I wish there was a bit more to the game.

That's a good idea to have a level select so more people (or any people?) can see the end and our beautiful butterfly sprite! Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

Yeah, we know it's too hard, we ran out of time to balance the challenge. Shame, but about an hour before submission it was even more difficult... Thanks for persevering anyway!

Great graphics - I wish I could draw like that. Love the little scarecrow. Honestly the art and sound are gorgeous.

Your game has a super relaxing vibe. I wish there was a bit more to do as I would definitely be happy spending more time in that world!

This is like a lovely interactive postcard from Japan. Nice choice of colours and assets.

I really like this and keep coming back for more punishment! It can feel a little unfair sometimes but it's nice to play.

Not much instruction so I was avoiding the things which give you life for the first couple of goes because I thought they were fire.

Shame you didn't have time to create some artwork for the black boxes because, like others have said, it otherwise looks and sounds really polished.

I like the zoom out effect when you grow several plants underfoot - it would be good if the player could also control this so you can see what's above you and decide whether it's worth growing a tower of plants or not.

So I thought just one more go and I did it - 58! Lost the other leaf shortly afterwards I think but rode my surviving leaf like a pro.

The idea is really clever. It's immediately easy to grasp but there is room for a lot of depth and strategy there because you have to manage your leaps between the leaves to make sure neither leaf grows too quickly.

But yeah it's hard. The speed and inertia on the jump leaves little room for error - can't get past that bit at 30! It would help if you had a little more time and were a bit more manoeuvrable when airborne.

I like the little character in its judo outfit and no one has mentioned the jaunty tune yet. Good stuff.

The bee feels good to control and the animations are really cute (particularly when you run out of power). I also like how the buzzing sound effect is clearly one of you going "bzzzzzz". A nice chill experience.

Don't fret fellow bee enthusiast, those are intended to be wasps, but I appreciate it is difficult to tell with their super kawaii faces.

Completed this last night and enjoyed it. Clever to tie the 'growth' theme to the way you gain new abilities in a metroidvania. It would be better if a little more puzzle solving or exploration was required but there is still an impressive amount of content for a 2 day turnaround.

We have a puppy too but thankfully he can't double jump like yours - nothing would be safe on the kitchen top.

Thanks for playing! Our game was originally going to be a lot more like yours, a scroller with obstacles as well as enemies, but we decided to keep it simple. Your game is fun!

PS - they are meant to be wasps!

Lovely cohesive design - the music and graphics are great. It all works really well, I wish there were more levels and more challenging levels because I am totally awesome at this game.

Thanks for playing! Flower Shower is great by the way!

Thanks for the feedback - we might return to the game to polish it up a bit and will definitely take this into account. Thanks for playing!

Yeah all of the sfx are too high in the mix, they were added fairly late on, but we might adjust that if we go back to the game. Thanks for the feedback and for playing our game!

Yes, 3rd level is punishingly difficult! We ran out of time to playtest it and improve the balance. But it is possible to complete it. Thanks for taking the time to play and comment!

I can never get my head around the strategy to match 3 games but I liked the nice clean design, good job.

Great idea, hilarious and really polished.

I think the controls are meant to be challenging and borderline frustrating, a bit like Surgeon Simulator, but the more you play the more you get to grips with them - slow and steady works best. It would be too easy if the shears responded perfectly.

Miyamoto will be kicking himself that he never did a version of this using Wiimote controls.

I wish there was a little more strategy involved but this is such a cool simple little game. The retro style art and music are brilliant and a perfect fit.

I agree with all of the previous comments but I enjoyed the game. Love the art design and it matches the relaxed vibe of the game.

I love bees. Fun game with an important message too. Save the bees!

Nice spin on Peggle. Love the drama created by the slowdown.  My favourite game so far.
